Starting use
After removing the packaging and mounting on the wall (see Chapter 2.3 Setting up the
appliance), the appliance can be put into operation. Proceed as follows for this:
1. Make sure that the ON/OFF switch is at "O" (see Fig. 2, No. 2). Then connect the
ceramic appliance to an earthed socket protected with an earth-leakage circuit breaker.
2. Now switch on the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF switch (see Fig. 2, No. 2).
When first put into operation or after a longer period without heating
a short-term odour can arise.
