3.4 Unsafe Removal of Device

Possible causes:

• The connection between the digital 

camera and the computer has been
interrupted

• The USB cable has been removed from

the computer

• The battery of the camera is empty (in 

battery mode)

Solution:

• Confirm error message („OK“)

• Check the USB cable for connection

• Detach the USB cable from the computer and 

reconnect it

• Remove battery from the camera, recharge and 

reinsert into the camera. The battery can also be
recharged while inserted in the camera when the
camera is connected to a power source

• Restart the computer
