Safety warnings for batteries
1. CAUTION: Never swallow batteries - life hazard! If a battery has been swallowed seek medical
advice immediately .
2. Remove the batteries from the device if you do not use it for a longer period of time.
3. Warning - never charge a battery - danger of explosion!
4. Ensure that the battery polarity corresponds with the markings provided on the battery compartment.

5. Spent batteries should not be left in the device as these corrode and can release chemicals.
6. Do not dispose of spent batteries in the household waste. Consult your local authority or
dealership for details of recycling or disposal facilities.
7. Keep batteries away from children.
8. Never expose batteries to fire.
9. Never short batteries or take them apart.
10. Non-observance of safety warnings can lead to deep discharge of batteries. Risk of release of
chemicals.
11. In the case of release of chemicals, remove batteries immediately. Wear suitable protective
gloves.
12. Avoid any contact with the skin and especially the eyes. In the event of contact with battery acid,
rinse the area with clean water and immediately consult a doctor.
13. We recommend that you change all four batteries at the same time - if old and new batteries are
mixed the batteries can discharge one another and/or cause the device to malfunction. Use only
batteries of the type stated.
