- Select the high temperature alarm with the Mode button and activate it with one of the
arrow buttons.
- Press the Mode button again and adjust the temperature of the high temperature alarm
using the arrow buttons.
- Activate and define the low temperature alarm accordingly.
- Push the trigger switch once to start continuous temperature monitoring.
- The emissivity can be adjusted with the arrow buttons during the monitoring process.
- A temperature above the pre-defined limits will trigger the acoustic alarm and the
symbol will blink on the display.
- A temperature below the pre-defined limits will trigger the acoustic alarm and the
symbol will blink on the display.
High temperature / low temperature alarm
The high temperature / low temperature alarms can also be used without the LOCK function
for individual temperature measurements.
Disable the LOCK function and proceed as described above.
Set the upper and lower alarms individually or together to isolate a specific temperatre
range.
- The device measures the average temperature of the scanned spot.
- The surface has to be bigger than the scanned spot.
- The scanned spot size increases with distance from the surface.
- The ratio of distance to spot size is 20:1 at 260 mm. At bigger or smaller distances from
the surface slight deviations from the ratio may occur.
