Joysticks, steering wheels, paddles and motion pad controllers can be purchased and
attached to the system. Ensure that any new devices for use with the Retro Box have the
Retro Seal of Quality, which indicates that it is an officially licensed product. Using
unofficial products with your Retro Brand Set Top Box can result in a voided warranty.
USING THE BACKUP MEMORY FEATURE:
There is an onboard backup memory feature for saving settings. This is achieved through
on board battery. Settings selected on the compact disc and videodisc player screens will
automatically save to this battery function.
Some video games make use of this feature in order to save game data. These games will
do so automatically, as long as the battery continues to hold a charge.
Memory management can be achieved through the file management screen.
CAUTION!
When using your Retro Brand Set Top Box, please keep the following pointers in mind:
1)
Do not expose your Retro Brand Set Top Box to any form of water or moisture.
2)
Do not attempt to disassemble or alter the device or any of its peripherals in any
way. The user can service no internal parts.
3)
The device is designed to operate at 110-120 VAC at 60 Hz. Do not use the device
with a foreign electrical outlet without a proper converter.
4)
Disconnect the power cord when you are attaching your Retro Box to the television
set.
5)
Turn off your Retro Box when it is not in use.
6)
Do not situate your Retro Box near vents, stoves, radiators or any other sources of
heat.
7)
Keep all ventilation slots on your Retro Box clear to prevent overheating.
8)
Do not recharge, disassemble or dispose of the internal lithium battery in a fire.
9)
Do not permit small children to misuse the Retro Box.
