clean it. Empty the boiler again into a sink or a container and fill it again with fresh
water to rinse it thoroughly.
o
If the water is very dirty, repeat the operation until it comes out clean.
o
Screw the valve again, ensuring that the sealing ring is properly
seated.
o
Fill the water tank again (Fig.2) and reinsert it.
o
Turn on the appliance (7).
o
Before resume ironing, release some steam into the sink or another container to
check that the steam is clean. This should take a few seconds.
CAUTION: Do not pour more than 200 ml water into the boiler. Pour water slowly, being
careful not to let it overflow, as this could damage the appliance.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
o
Unplug the appliance and allow to cool down before cleaning.
o
Clean the soleplate while it is still slightly warm with a damp non-metallic pad. The
appliance must not be cleaned with descaling agents.
o
Wipe the body of the appliance clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then wipe
dry. Do not use solvents or detergents which may damage the surface of the steam
generator iron.
o
Regularly check the power cord/supply hose for wear, leak and damage, particularly
where it enters the product, as well as the plug.
IRONING TIPS
o
Separate the garments according to their correct ironing temperature. Start with the
items that require a lower temperature.
o
Fabrics such as velvet and wool, and accessories such as gloves, handbags, etc. will
regain their brand-new look and texture by simply passing the iron near the surface
of the fabric and pressing the steam button.
o
Marks left on a carpet by furniture can be removed by applying steam on these parts
and brush lightly.
o
When in doubt about what temperature to use, start low and iron inside out. You can
always move the temperature up gradually to prevent scorching.
