2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Congratulations for your excellent choice! Please read these instructions carefully
before using the machine for the first time as unskilful handling may result in safety
hazards.
Clothing, safety devices and personal safety:
•
Do not wear loose-fitting clothing or jewellery that can become trapped in moving
parts.
•
Wear shoes with rubber soils when working outdoors.
•
Use personal protection equipment.
•
Stay alert when operating the machine. Never operate the machine in effect of
drugs (illicit or medicinal) or alcohol, or if you are feeling sick.
•
Make sure that the main switch is not ON when you connect the plug.
•
Make sure that the machine is in a proper position before switching it on.
•
Avoid leaning forward when operating the machine. Stand always on a firm
surface.
Operating area:
•
Keep the operating area clean.
•
Do not use the machine in wet or damp conditions.
•
Do not use the machine near inflammable or explosive substances.
•
Keep children and other outsiders away from the operating point. Do not let
children use the machine.
•
Make sure that the operational area is sufficiently illuminated.
Electrical safety:
•
It is not allowed to modify the plug or power cable in any way.
•
Avoid contact with earthed surfaces, pipes, radiators and other earthed objects.
•
Do not carry the machine from the cable and never pull the cable when removing
the plug. Handle the cable with care, keep it away from heat, oil or sharp
objects.
•
Make sure that the operating voltage is correct.
•
Use an extension cable that is suitable for outdoor use.
•
Do not operate the machine in a temperature below 0°C.
•
Keep the power cable behind the machine, away from the working direction.
