The activity monitor measures your physical activity keenly 
and helps you to assist your diet or motivates to reach your 
daily walking target.
The activity monitor uses 3-axis technology to detect and 
calculate any fast or slow signals from physical activity ac-
curately.

Assemble the unit and strap:

1.  Attach the strap to the unit.
2.  Open and close the clip.

The jogging mode stores the measurement values for a spec-

ified jogging period or session.

Note:

 

•  You  cannot  check  the  current  dis

-

play or memory function when us-
ing the jogging mode.

1.   Press  the 

 for 2 seconds from any 

displays.

2.   The 

 mark is flashing when using 

jogging mode.

3.  Starting jogging, the LCD will dis-

play the jogging distance travelled/ 
jogging distance target setting , 
jogging calories consumed and jog-
ging average speed in that order.

Note:

 

•  When you start jogging mode, the previous data of jog

-

ging time, jogging distance, calories burned and jogging 
speed are reset and measurement begins.

•  Only one session can be stored in memory from the jog

-

ging mode. 

•  If without counting steps for 10 minutes, the unit will fin

-

ish the jogging mode automatically.

4.  To stop jogging mode, press (

) for 2 seconds from any 

displays.

Attach the unit:
Pocket:

1.  Put the unit in your upper front or trousers 

pocket.

2.  Clip the strap to the edge of your pocket.

Note:

 

•  Do not put the unit in the back pocket of 

your shorts or trousers.

Bag:

1.  Put the unit in your bag.

Note:

  

•  Be sure you can hold the bag tightly.
•  Be  sure  the  unit  is  securely  fastened  to 

your bag.

•  Clip the strap to the edge of your bag.

The unit may not measure your steps ac-
curately in the following conditions:

1.  The unit moves irregularly.

    •  When the unit is put in a bag which is moved irregularly. 
    •  When the unit swings from your belt, a pocket or a bag.
2. Walking at an inconsistent pace.
    •  When you shuffle or wear sandals or slippers.
    •  Starting  and  stopping  or  other  forms  of  inconsistent 

walking.

3. Up and down movement.

    •  Standing up and sitting down movement.
    •  Playing sports other than walking and running.
    •  Ascending or descending movement on stairs or on a 

steep slope.

    •  When you are engaged in an upper-body workout.

4. Using the unit in a vibration environment.

    •  Like riding a bicycle, car, train or bus.
5. Walking extremely slowly.

6. Jogging or walking with the unit held in your hand.

Setting the Date/Time, Gender, Height, Weight, Stride 
Length and Target

Please follow the steps below when you use the unit for the 

first time or you want to change settings.

1.  Pull out the isolation sheet from the battery cover.
2.  Press the SET button on the back of the unit with a thin, 

sturdy stick that will not break easily.

Note:

 

•  Do  not  press  the  button  with  a  sharp  point.  This  could 

cause damage.

•  If no settings are made for more than 10 minutes, the LCD 

will be turned off.

•  Setting range details refer to “Specification”.

3.  Setting the date.

    (1)  The date flashes on the LCD.
    (2)  Press “Up” or “Down” to select the desired value for 

a setting.

1.  Start walking.

Note:

 

•  In order to avoid counting steps that are not part of a walk, 

the unit does not display the step count for the first 4 sec

-

onds of walking. If you continue walking for more than 4 
seconds, it displays the step count for the first 4 seconds 

and then continues to count

2.  After you walk, press display key to read the data. 

Note:

 

•  This unit resets to “0” at midnight (0:00) each day.

         •  Press “Up(Down)” to advance (go back) one.
         •  Hold “Up(Down)” to advance (go back) rapidly.
    (3)  Press “Enter” to confirm the setting.

4.  Repeat steps (2) to (3) to set the month.
5.  Repeat steps (2) to (3) to set the hour.
6.  Repeat steps (2) to (3) to set the minute.
7.  Repeat steps (2) to (3) to set the gender.
8.  Repeat steps (2) to (3) to set the height.
9.  Repeat steps (2) to (3) to set the weight.

10.  Repeat steps (2) to (3) to set the stride length.

11.  Repeat steps (2) to (3) to set the jogging distance target.
This completes the setup.

Stride Length setting

For measuring the distance coverage, it is important to keep  
regular strides and maintain your walking form. To deter-

mine your average stride length, please walk 10 steps as il

-

lustrated below. Then please measure distance (toe to toe) 

of your 10 steps and divide distance by 10. You can calculate 

your average one step (stride length).
