Maintenance and cleaning the BISAM 22 BRUSH

Before doing any maintenance work on the machine, always disconnect it from the power
supply. Clean the machine after use. If the cable socket on the machine is dirty, clean it with compressed
air or with a soft brush.
Clean the exterior of the machine with a clean and dry cloth. Do not use any water near the switch area
and the power unit. Keep the handles clean and free from oil and grease.
Check that the power unit is not damaged. Check that the charging unit is not damaged and in working
order. Check that the carrying strap is not damaged. Make sure that all connections and cables are clean
and intact.
If the machine starts to vibrate, it must be turned off. Turn off the machine and disconnect the power
unit before removing any material which may be wrapped around the brush.
Transporting and storing the BISAM 22 BRUSH
• Secure the machine before transporting it.
• Turn off the machine before transporting it and stow it away into the packing provided.
• The power unit and the charging unit should be stored in a dry place, free from damp and frost.
• The power unit should not be stored in rooms where there is a danger of electrostatic discharge.
• The power unit should be stored where there is a temperature of between 0 und 30 °C and not ex
posed to direct sunlight.
• Store the machine in a room which is locked and not accessible for children or other unauthorized
persons.
• Before storing it for a longer period, make sure that the machine is thoroughly cleaned and that the
power unit is fully charged. For longer storage time, recharge the battery.
What is wrong if the brush does not work?
• The power unit is not fully charged, deep discharge, therefore recharge the battery more often
• The power unit is not correctly installed in its holder.
• The plugs are not connected properly.
• The brush is blocked with foreign matter.
• The speed control has not been activated, please note that there is a short delay before the brush
starts to work.
• In order to test it, the brush head can be directly connected to the power unit. In this way, the switch
unit and the telescopic rod can be bypassed, thereby excluding parts of the equipment when searching
for any defect.
Disposal of the battery, charging unit and the machine
The symbol on the product or the packaging indicates that this product should not be disposed of in the
normal domestic waste. Disposal should take place at a suitable recycling centre for electric and electro
-
nic equipment.
