Pull the starter grip lightly until
resistance is felt, then pull rapidly.
Repeat until the engine starts.

Push the choke lever to the OPEN
position as engine warms up.
The choke is used to provide the proper
mixture when the engine is cold. It can
be opened and closed by operating the
choke lever manually. Move the lever to
the closed position to enrich the mix-
ture for cold starting.

Once the generator’s engine is
running, allow several minutes for
the motor to warm up and stabilize
before connecting any load.

Set the main AC circuit breaker in
the ON position. Power will now be
available at the output sockets.
OR
•
Turn the engine key switch to the START
position and hold it there until the engine
starts.
NOTE
: If the engine fails to start after 5 sec-
onds, release key and wait 10 seconds before
attempting to start again. Cranking the electric
starter for more than 5 seconds continuously
can overheat and damage the starter motor.

If your generator has remote starting feature the remote control can also be
used to start the generator
NOTE:
When the generator is new the battery may need to be charge before can use the
electric start. Start the generator manually to charge the battery
NOTE:
If the engine does not start check the oil level. The engine is fitted with
and oil sensor that will prevent the engine from starting if the oil level is low.
