Device Setup Tab

Table 16.10

 summarizes the options displayed in the Device Setup tab.

AES67 Sender Interface

The AES67 Sender interface provides options for configuring the network streams for the AES67 senders.

OK (Green)

The Check Code is validated for the SID and 

watermarking is operating correctly

Off (Yellow)

One of the following has occurred:
• The Watermark output is not enabled
• No audio streams are assigned

Orchestrating (Yellow)

The NWE-IP is attempting to watermark the 

output

Invalid SDI and/or CSID 

Check Code (Red)

An incorrect Check Code was entered for the 

specified SID or CSID

Watermarker Name

Indicates the unique identifier for the specific 

watermark output stream

Watermark Type

NAES/CBET

The NWE-IP uses both NAES and CBET for 

watermark encoding. This is the default.

NAES

The NWE-IP applies the NAES values for 

watermark encoding. Entries made to the CBET 

fields on the Watermark Table tab will be ignored.

CBET

The NWE-IP applies the CBET values for 

watermark encoding. Entries made to the NAES 

fields on the Watermark Table tab will be ignored.

Code Type

Final Distributer

Specifies that your facility is the final station or 

network in the program distribution chain

Program Content

Specifies that your facility is the broadcast network 

or syndicate in the program distribution chain

Time Zone

#

Specifies the time zone your facility is located in

Version

The software build the watermark encoder of the
