5.11 Charging the battery
DANGER
Risk of injury due to improper charging of the battery!
Improper charging may cause the battery or other inflammable materials nearby to catch fire.
• Only use the original charger.
• Do not locate the charger or battery near inflammable materials while charging.
• Only charge the battery when dry.
• Do not leave the battery unattended while charging it.
The battery pack can be charged at any time when removed or installed without shortening its service life. Interrupting
the charging process does not damage the battery pack.
The battery pack comes with a temperature control that only allows you to charge the battery within a temperature
range of 0 °C to +40 °C. If the battery pack is outside the charging temperature range, three LEDs of the battery charge
indicator
will start to flash (2). Disconnect the battery from the charger until the temperature has adjusted.
Only connect the battery pack to the charger when the permissible charging temperature has been reached.
