5. Setting of Smartbox
5.1 Setting of Smartboxes in the system
To make the Smartbox network operate, it is necessary to set each Smartbox depending on its
location in the system.
The reason is that the system must know where the network starts and where it ends.
The example on page 8 shows the setting of the slide contact on each Smartbox.
There are two options:
3. The Smartbox is either the first or the last in the
system. (End-Smartbox)
In that case, the slide contact must be set to
THE LEFT (away from the centre of the box)
4. The Smartbox is located somewhere in the
middle of the system.
In that case, the slide contact must be set to
THE RIGHT (towards the centre of the box)
