Pass the line down through the 
head and out through the cheek.

Pass line through the hub.

Pass line in through the 
opposite cheek and back up 
through the head.

Finish lashing with appropriate 
knot, splice or whipping.

Pass line around fixing point.  
Repeat steps 1.1.1 to 1.1.3 
if more than one lashing is 
required to meet desired 
breaking load.
