User Manual 1178.3370.02 ─ 11
"Max Hold"
The maximum value is determined over several sweeps and dis-
played. The R&S
FPL1000 saves each trace point in the trace mem-
ory only if the new value is greater than the previous one.
The "Detector" is automatically set to "PositivePeak".
This mode is not available for statistics measurements.
"Min Hold"
The minimum value is determined from several measurements and
displayed. The R&S
FPL1000 saves each trace point in the trace
memory only if the new value is lower than the previous one.
The "Detector" is automatically set to "Negative Peak".
This mode is not available for statistics measurements.
"Average"
The average is formed over several sweeps.
The
determines the number of averaging pro-
cedures.
The "Detector" is automatically set to "Sample".
This mode is not available for statistics measurements.
"View"
The current contents of the trace memory are frozen and displayed.
"Blank"
Removes the selected trace from the display.
Remote command:
DISPlay[:WINDow<n>]:TRACe<t>:MODE
Detector
Defines the trace detector to be used for trace analysis.
For details see
"Mapping Samples to sweep Points with the Trace Detector"
Note:
For EMI measurements, the trace detector is used for the initial peak search
only, not for the final test. The detector for the final test is configured in the EMI marker
settings, see
"Auto"
Selects the optimum detector for the selected trace and filter mode.
This is the default setting.
"Type"
Defines the selected detector type.
Note:
If the EMI (R&S
FPL1-K54) measurement option is installed,
additional detectors are available, even if EMI measurement is not
active. If you select a CISPR trace detector, the RBW filter type is
automatically also set to CISPR.
CISPR detectors are not available for the following measurements:
●
Emission measurements
●
Power measurements
●
Statistics measurements
●
Measurements with a logarithmic frequency axis
If you select a CISPR trace detector while logarithmic frequency
axis scaling (FFT mode) is active, the scaling is automatically
switched to linear. The sweep mode is automatically switched to
sweep.
