For indoor use only, in dry environments – do NOT use outdoors. Do NOT expose to rain or
moisture. Never submerge. Keep the plug and the electrical components dry.
Do NOT expose to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures
Do NOT use this product it is not working correctly; if it has become damaged or if any liquid or
dampness has reached any electrical part.
Use this product only as described in these instructions.
Adjust volume levels appropriately – consider your own hearing and the comfort of others!
Should this product get accidentally wet, a responsible adult should disconnect it from the mains.
Never remove the control panel or speaker. In the unlikely event of product failure, contact us.
Do not attempt to access the interior of this product yourself.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem: Chair back not sitting upright
Suggestion: Sit on the chair a few times to manipulate the fillings into the back section.
Problem: No sound from the unit
Suggestion: Make sure the product is plugged in and power is switched ON at the mains
Make sure power is switched ON at the control panel
Adjust the volume at the control panel
Ensure the sound source is activated
Check the connections on your audio/video device. The cables should be
connected to the AUDIO OUTPUT jacks. Check the connections to your Slouchpod. The RCA
cables (red and white) must be to the input jacks.
Problem: No illumination of Slouchpod light at the control panel
Suggestion: Make sure the product is plugged in and power is switched ON at the mains
Make sure power is switched ON at the control panel
Problem: Unable to connect to the gaming console
Suggestion: Check that the console’s RCA audio cables are connected to the Slouchpod
extension cable correctly (red to red and white to white) if an extension cable is required.
Check that the console’s RCA audio cables are connected correctly to the
Slouchpod control panel (red to red and white to white).
Check that the console’s RCA video cable (normally yellow) is connected to the
INPUT jack on the television.
Problem: Your video game console has a coaxial cable instead of an RCA audio cable
Suggestion: If your gaming console uses a coaxial cable, you cannot connect it directly to the
Slouchpod. Connection can be made via an intermediary device such as a television, DVD etc
Problem: chair is sagging
Suggestion: If after much use the chair appears to be sagging, please contact us – refill packs
are available at an additional cost.
