Start/stop the appliance
• When all desired settings are chosen, the appliance can be started with the
“Start/Stopp” button.
• The timer is designed as a “countdown timer”. Having set the timer, it counts
down the time to “0”. Having reached the set maturing time, there is a four-
time ‘beep’. The appliance switches OFF automatically.
• The maturing process can be interrupted at any time by touching the
“Start/Stopp” button again.
Remove glass container/yogurt cups
• Remove the cover. Please note that there might be some condensed water at the inner surface of the
cover. The formation of condensed water is normal and no reason for complaint.
• Remove the glass container respectively the yogurt cups.
• Put the finished yogurt in the refrigerator for at least 4 - 8 hours in order to finalize the maturing process.
Then the yoghurt could be refined with ingredients, processed or consumed.
Permanent switch-off
• Pull the power plug after each use for a permanent and safe switch-off.
CAUTION: Hazard of injury resp. burns!
Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance and let all parts
cool down!
Do not immerse appliance, power cord and plug in water nor
clean it under running water!
Cleaning and maintenance
• Clean the inside and outside of the appliance with a damp tissue and wipe it dry.
• Clean the cover, the glass container, yogurt cups, lid and the strainer in hot water with some detergent.
NOTE:
The glass container and the yogurt cups can also be cleaned in the dishwasher.
• The appliance as well as all accessory parts must be completely clean and dry before next use.
• Do not use any abrasives or solvents!
• Never clean the appliance with a steam cleaner!
Error codes
The electronic system of the appliance recognizes malfunctions and shows them as error code in the display:
E1 / E2 Error in the electronic control. Electronic system defective.
