• Please observe, that …
… the cover becomes hot during use!
… the integrated handle must always be used for opening and closing the cover!
… hot steam may escape to the front and to the sides when opening the cover!
After grilling
• Switch the appliance off.
• For this, turn the temperature regulator to the left to position “O”.
• Afterwards, pull the mains plug.
• Carefully remove the food.
• Clean the appliance after each use. For more detailed information please refer to “Cleaning and
maintenance”.
NOTE:
For removing, use suitable grill cutlery made of heat-resistant plastic or wood.
Cleaning and maintenance
Warning – hazard of injury and burns!
Before cleaning the grill plate, drip pan or other parts, let the
complete appliance cool down!
Always pull the mains plug before cleaning!
• Cleaning of the grill plate:
– Detach the temperature regulator.
– Detach the grill plate from the grill.
– Remove coarse soiling by means of the attached cleaning scraper.
– Afterwards, use a soft brush and some dishwashing detergent for cleaning and rinse with clear water.
– Soak stubborn residues on the grill plate with warm water with dishwashing detergent.
– Wipe dry thoroughly after cleaning.
• Cleaning the temperature regulator:
– Detach the temperature regulator.
– Clean the temperature regulator and the power cord with a damp cloth and wipe them dry
thoroughly.
Warning: Do not immerse the temperature regulator and power cord in water!
• Cleaning the remaining parts:
– Clean cover, drip pan, post, storage tray etc. with a damp cloth and some dishwashing detergent.
– Afterwards wipe the parts thoroughly dry.
• Do not use a scouring agent or dissolvent!
• Do not use oven sprays for cleaning!
• Never use a steam jet appliance for cleaning the grill and the grill plate!
