TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE

PROBLEM

SOLUTION

PROBLEM

SOLUTION

1. CONDENSATION

This is caused by lower temperatures on

the outside of the tent combined with body

heat on the inside of the tent. When this

occurs, avoid touching walls. Leaving doors

and windows open will reduce condensation

of moisture.

4. FAULTY ZIPPER

The zipper separates, you can move the

slider to the beginning of the zipper tape

and rework the zipper. If this continues,

local awning or upholstery repair shops

may be able to assist you.

2. SEAM LEAKAGE

To protect against seam leakage, apply a

generous amount of seam sealer on all

interior seams.

5. FLOOR

CONDENSATION

A ground cloth under the tent prevents the

floor from feeling damp and helps prolong

the life of the tent. The cloth should be

smaller than the tent floor to prevent rain

from running under the tent.

3. MILDEW

To avoid mildew, never store your tent wet or

damp. However, if mildew occurs, clean using

a mild detergent. Let the tent dry completely

in sunlight and apply seam sealer compound

on inside seams

6. REMOVING PEGS

Peg should be pulled with another peg,

hammer or peg puller, but never by pulling

the tent. Avoid pegging tent so tight that it

stretches the fabric. Over stretching may

cause peg loops to tear.

This troubleshooting guide is designed to give you years of fun and enjoyment from your tent.
