DIP SWITCH SETTINGS
- PHANTOM POWER: If a microphone requires phantom power, move the Mic channel’s corresponding PHANTOM
POWER DIP switch to the down position. This applies 24 volts phantom power to the indicated microphone.
- Talk Over Zone Assignment 1: When in the ON position, all program material on ZONE 1 will be “ducked” or muted when
signal is present on MICROPHONE 1 or MICROPHONE 2. As a note at least one of the mics must be set to Zone 1 to talk
over. This function is used for paging.
- Talk Over Zone Assignment 2: When in the ON position, all program material on ZONE 2 will be “ducked” or muted when
signal is present on MICROPHONE 1 or MICROPHONE 2. As a note at least one of the mics must be set to Zone 2 to talk
over. This function is used for paging.
- T.O. Release Time 1: This adjusts the Talk Over Release time for Zone 1.
- T.O. Release Time 2: This adjusts the Talk Over Release time for Zone 2.
Down = Long release time UP = Shorter release time
Connect low impedance microphones to the Mic inputs (or line level XLR signals with the mic/line switch set to the proper
setting). Connect source signals such as CD players, MP3 players or video players to the RCA Source Inputs. Connect
3.5mm sources to the front panel input.
The slotted holes in the back of the MA66 are for the attachment of a wire tie (included on the PS24 cord) or a small zip
tie (not included), for power cord strain relief as needed. Just thread the tie thru the holes and attach the cord.
REMOTE PAD: 3 Pin barrier strip for connection to a remote potentiometer for volume pad control. 100K Ohm audio taper
potentiometer is recommended (others will work).
2: Connection to potentiometer to pad Zone 2.
COMM: Common Ground for connection to pots.
1: Connection to potentiometer to pad Zone 1. As illustrated. As a note if the potentiometer pad is working
opposite of what you intended just reverse the wires going to that potentiometer.
