4. Batteries

›

The output of any battery will drop at low
temperatures. However, it will return to normal at
room temperature. Always use fresh batteries when
shooting at low temperatures. Keep spare batteries
warm in an inside pocket of your clothing and
periodically exchange them for the one in the camera.
At very low temperatures, battery power may go
down sufficiently to make further shooting
impossible.

6. Storage

Never leave your camera for prolonged periods in
hot places, such as a vehicle parked in the sun. This
also holds for very humid places.
