安全上のご注意
火災・感電・傷害を防止するには
以下の指示を必ず守ってください
取扱いを誤った場合に、使用者が
傷害を負う危険が想定される場合
および物的損害のみの発生が想定

この機器を分解したり、改造したりしない
でください。
修理／部品の交換などで、取扱説明書に書
かれていないことは、絶対にしないでくだ
さい。必ずお買い上げ店またはローランド
お客様相談センターに相談してください。
次のような場所に設置しないでください。
• 温度が極端に高い場所（直射日光の当
たる場所、暖房機器の近く、発熱する
機器の上など）
• 水気の近く（風呂場、洗面台、濡れた
床など）や湿度の高い場所
• 湯気や油煙が当たる場所
• 塩害の恐れがある場所
• 雨に濡れる場所
• ほこりや砂ぼこりの多い場所
• 振動や揺れの多い場所
この機器を、ぐらつく台の上や傾いた場所
に設置しないでください。必ず安定した水
平な場所に設置してください。
この機器に、異物（燃えやすいもの、硬貨、
針金など）や液体（水、ジュースなど）を
絶対に入れないでください。また、この機
器の上に液体の入った容器を置かないでく
ださい。ショートや誤動作など、故障とな
ることがあります。
警告
お子様のいるご家庭で使用する場合、お子
様の取り扱いやいたずらに注意してくださ
い。必ず大人のかたが、監視／指導してあ
げてください。
この機器を落としたり、この機器に強い衝
撃を与えないでください。
注意
接続したコードやケーブル類は、繁雑にな
らないように配慮してください。特に、コー
ドやケーブル類は、お子様の手が届かない
ように配慮してください。
この機器の上に乗ったり、機器の上に重い
ものを置かないでください。
使用上のご注意
設置について
• 直射日光の当たる場所や、発熱する機器の近く、閉め
切った車内などに放置しないでください。変形、変色
することがあります。
• 極端に温湿度の違う場所に移動すると、内部に水滴が
つく（結露）ことがあります。そのまま使用すると故
障の原因になりますので、数時間放置し、結露がなく
なってから使用してください。
• 本機の上にゴム製品やビニール製品などを長時間放置
しないでください。変形、変色することがあります。
• 設置条件（設置面の材質、温度など）によっては本機
のゴム足が、設置した台などの表面を変色または変質
させることがあります。ゴム足の下にフェルトなどの
布を敷くと、安心してお使いいただけます。この場合、
本機が滑って動いたりしないことを確認してからお使
いください。
• 本機の上に水の入った容器、殺虫剤、香水、アルコー
ル類、マニキュア、スプレー缶などを置かないでくだ
さい。また、表面に付着した液体は、すみやかに乾い
た柔らかい布で拭き取ってください。
お手入れについて
• 通常のお手入れは、柔らかい布で乾拭きするか、堅く
絞った布で汚れを拭き取ってください。汚れが激しい
ときは、中性洗剤を含んだ布で汚れを拭き取ってから、
柔らかい布で乾拭きしてください。
• 変色や変形の原因となるベンジン、シンナーおよびア
ルコール類は、使用しないでください。
修理について
• お客様がこの機器を分解、改造された場合、以後の性
能について保証できなくなります。また、修理をお断
りする場合もあります。
• 当社では、この製品の補修用性能部品（製品の機能を
維持するために必要な部品）を、製造打切後 6 年間保
有しています。この部品保有期間を修理可能の期間と
させていただきます。なお、保有期間が経過した後も、
故障箇所によっては修理可能の場合がありますので、
お買い上げ店、またはローランドお客様相談センター
にご相談ください。
その他の注意について
• 故障の原因になりますので、ペダルに過度の力を加え
ないでください。
• ケーブルの抜き差しは、ショートや断線を防ぐため、
プラグを持ってください。
• 輸送や引っ越しをするときは、この機器が入っていた
ダンボール箱と緩衝材、または同等品で梱包してくだ
さい。
• この機器が入っていた梱包箱や緩衝材を廃棄する場
合、各地域のゴミの分別基準に従って行ってください。
• 下図のように本機を持たないでください。

Placement
• Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight, place
it near devices that radiate heat, leave it inside
an enclosed vehicle, or otherwise subject it to
temperature extremes. Excessive heat can deform or
discolor the unit.
• When moved from one location to another where the
temperature and/or humidity is very diff erent, water
droplets (condensation) may form inside the unit.
Damage or malfunction may result if you attempt to
use the unit in this condition. Therefore, before using
the unit, you must allow it to stand for several hours,
until the condensation has completely evaporated.
• Do not allow rubber, vinyl, or similar materials to
remain on this unit for long periods of time. Such
objects can discolor or otherwise harmfully aff ect
the fi nish.
• Depending on the material and temperature of the
surface on which you place the unit, its rubber feet
may discolor or mar the surface. You can place a piece
of felt or cloth under the rubber feet to prevent this
from happening. If you do so, please make sure that
the unit will not slip or move accidentally.
• Do not put anything that contains water on this unit.
Also, avoid the use of insecticides, perfumes, alcohol,
nail polish, spray cans, etc., near the unit. Swiftly wipe
away any liquid that spills on the unit using a dry,
soft cloth.
Maintenance
• For everyday cleaning wipe the unit with a soft,
dry cloth or one that has been slightly dampened
with water. To remove stubborn dirt, use a cloth
impregnated with a mild, non-abrasive detergent.
Afterwards, be sure to wipe the unit thoroughly with
a soft, dry cloth.
• Never use benzine, thinners, alcohol or solvents of
any kind, to avoid the possibility of discoloration and/
or deformation.
Additional Precautions
• Use a reasonable amount of care when using the
unit’s pedals. Rough handling can lead to malfunc-
tions.
• When connecting / disconnecting all cables, grasp
the connector itself—never pull on the cable. This
way you will avoid causing shorts, or damage to the
cable’s internal elements.
• When you need to transport the unit, package it
in the box (including padding) that it came in, if
possible. Otherwise, you will need to use equivalent
packaging materials.
• Avoid holding or lifting the unit as depicted below.
WARNING
Do not open or perform any internal modifi ca-
tions on the unit.
Do not attempt to repair the unit, or replace
parts within it (except when this manual
provides specifi c instructions directing you to
do so). Please consult an authorized Roland
distributor or the nearest Roland Service
Center; a list of these can be found in the
owner’s manual for the device to which you are
connecting.
Never install the unit in any of the following
locations.
• Subject to temperature extremes (e.g.,
direct sunlight in an enclosed vehicle, near
a heating duct, on top of heat-generating
equipment); or are
• Damp (e.g., baths, washrooms, on wet
fl oors); or are
• Exposed to steam or smoke; or are
• Subject to salt exposure; or are
• Humid; or are
• Exposed to rain; or are
• Dusty or sandy; or are
• Subject to high levels of vibration and
shakiness.
Make sure you always have the unit placed so
it is level and sure to remain stable. Never place
it on stands that could wobble, or on inclined
surfaces.
Do not place containers containing liquid on
this product. Never allow foreign objects (e.g.,
fl ammable objects, coins, wires) or liquids (e.g.,
water or juice) to enter this product. Doing so
may cause short circuits, faulty operation, or
other malfunctions.
In households with small children, an adult
should provide supervision until the child is
capable of following all the rules essential for
the safe operation of the unit.
Protect the unit from strong impact.
(Do not drop it!)
CAUTION
Try to prevent cords and cables from becoming
entangled. Also, all cords and cables should be
placed so they are out of the reach of children.
Never climb on top of, nor place heavy objects
on the unit.
