10. A/D
* Because midpoint calibration of the pitch bender automatically starts at the same
time when this test item is enabled, never enable this test while the pitch bender
is positioned at an angle. Enabling this test item while the pitch bender is at an
angle causes the message
BENDER ADJUST ERROR !!
to appear and makes
A/D test execution impossible.
This verifies the operation of the control knobs, pitch bender and pedals.

Control knobs
1.
Turn the knob indicated in the LCD all the way counterclockwise and
verify that
0
is displayed.
2.
In the same way, turn the knob all the way clockwise and verify that
127
is displayed.
If no problems are found,
OK
is displayed.
3.
Check the other control knobs in the same manner.
Pitch Bender
4.
Move the pitch bender to the left and right and verify that the value of
BENDER
changes from
0
to
127
.
If no problem is found,
OK
is displayed.
5.
Move the modulation lever (pitch bender) to the front and back and
verify that the value of
MOD
changes from
0
to
127
.
If no problem is found,
OK
is displayed.
Pedal
6.
Connect the expression pedal to the
FOOT PEDAL CTRL 1
jack on the
rear panel.
7.
Depress the expression pedal and verify that the value of
CTRL PEDAL 1
changes from
0
to
127
.
If no problem is found,
OK
is displayed.
8.
In the same way, separately connect the expression pedal to the
FOOT
PEDAL CTRL 2
and
FOOT PEDAL HOLD
jacks, depress the pedal, and
verify that the values of
CTRL PEDAL 2
and
HOLD PEDAL
change from
0
to
127
.
If no problem is found,
OK
is displayed.
If all results are
OK
, execution automatically advances to the next test
item.
* If multiple expression pedals are on hand, then when they are unplugged from
the
FOOT PEDAL CTRL 1
and
2
jacks, execution automatically advances to
the next test item.
