About Placement

 

If using commercially available Cat5e Ethernet cables, attach the supplied REAC 
connector covers to the connectors.

Attach the rubber feet when not rack mounting the unit.

Peel off the backing from the double-sided adhesive tape on the rubber feet and 
attach the feet at the points indicated in the figure below.

* When turning the unit upside-down, get a bunch of newspapers or magazines, and place 

them under the four corners or at both ends to prevent damage to the buttons and controls. 
Also, you should try to orient the unit so no buttons or controls get damaged.

* When turning the unit upside-down, handle with care to avoid dropping it, or allowing it to 

fall or tip over.

Attaching the Rubber Feet

Remove the REAC connector 
covers if you are using REAC 
cables with EtherCon type 
connectors (SC-W100X or SC-
W100S).
Take care not to lose the REAC 
connector covers removed at 
this time.
