Do not fit the kettle backwards as water might get into and onto the control
area. If this happens, let the kettle dry thoroughly before next use. We
recommend placing it in a dry, warm area for 12 hours.

You may see moisture on the base when you lift the kettle. Do not worry as
it's the steam used to switch the kettle off automatically. The steam
condenses and escapes via vents under the kettle.

You may notice some discolouration on the floor of the kettle. This is normal
and is due to the bonding of the element to the kettle floor.
KEEP WARM FUNCTION
Should you lift the kettle off its base during the keep warm cycle and place it back on to
the base then the keep warm cycle will stop and the kettle will go into standby mode.
We recommend that you do not fill the kettle with cool water during the keep warm
cycle.
Should you lift the kettle off its base during the keep warm cycle and fill it with water
then the keep warm cycle will stop and the kettle will go into standby mode.
If the kettle is empty, cancel the keep warm cycle to prolong the life of your appliance.
