Signal Integrity of the Transferred Signal
The following sections describe the effect that bandwidth and the type of connec-
tion have on signal integrity.
4.1.1
Bandwidth
The bandwidth BW of a probe is one of its specific parameters. The bandwidth of
the probe and the bandwidth of the base unit together form the system band-
width. The following explanations refer to the probe itself, but can also be applied
to the entire system.

transferred at 70

dB) of its amplitude.
