Risk of instrument damage due to high temperature
Operate R&S
NGP800 power supply in an area where the ambient temper-
ature is 5 °C to +40 °C.
The R&S
NGP800 power supply is fan-cooled and must be installed with
sufficient space on the sides to allow proper air circulation. Ensure that fan
openings are unobstructed and airflow vents are unimpeded.
Operating the instrument with insufficient airflow or outside the allowable
ambient temperature can disrupt the operation and even cause damage.

Bench Operation
On a benchtop, the R&S
NGP800 power supply can either lie flat or stand on its

instrument in an inclined position.

nect the unit from the mains at any time and without restrictions.
