4. Maintenance
Generally for the device maintenance the environmental regulations of the respective country are to be observed.
After first year, disassemble and inspect the tool every three 3 months if the tool is used every day. Replace damaged or worn parts.
Always ensure that the machine is disconnected from energy source (compressed air) to avoid accidental operation.
To keep downtime to a minimum, use repair kit define in parts list.
Motor Lubrication
•
1. Only use RODCRAFT accessory air oil
2. Clean air intake nipple before use
3. Fill air oil (approx. 3 drops) into the air intake nipple and briefly operate the machine.
•
Follow abovementioned steps before and after using the machine. This increases the machine‘s service life.

Lubricate the striking mechanism as follows:
1. Only use commercially available grease with MoS
2
specifications.
2. Use grease gun with matching connector for the grease nipple on the striking mechanism casing.
3. Clean grease nipple before use.

Greasing frequency and amount of grease with specifications MoS
2
depends on the use of the machine. Generally the need for maintenance can be seen
by reduced torque and power. Now it is high time to grease the striking mechanism.
