Maintenance of the model

In order to ensure that your locomotive provides you with many years of pleasure, certain service work 
at regular intervals (approx. every 30 operating hours) is advisable.
Before commencing care and maintenance work on the model, first uncouple the locomotive from the 
tender.

▪ Decoupling of locomotive and tender

▪ Cleaning of the wheel-current contacts

Wheel contacts easily get dirty on tracks which are 
not entirely clean. Use a small brush to remove 
dirt from spots marked (fig. 2) after heaving re-
moved the Loco body (fig. 1 and 1a) or gear cover 
(fig.1b).
