Configuring the 1791ES-IB8XOBV4 Guard I/O Safety 
Module in RSLogix 5000 Software 

 

In the RSLogix 5000 project, the 1791ES-IB8XOBV4 module is added 
to the I/O Configuration under the 1756-ENBT EtherNet/IP bridge 
module, as shown. 

 

 

 

 

Set the Module Properties 

The 1791ES-IB8XOBV4 module is configured as follows.

On the General tab of the 1791ES-IB8OBV4 Module Properties 
dialog box, configure the following fields: 

 

Name: Unique module name 

 

IP Address: IP address of target module
