Use a PowerFlex 70 Drive in an RSLogix 5000 Project

Download the Project

1.

Save your RSLogix 5000 project.

2.

Verify that the controller’s mode 
switch is in the PROG position.

3.

Click the Controller Status icon 
and choose Download. 

4.

On the Download dialog box, 
click Download.

The project downloads to 
the controller.

IMPORTANT

If you receive a fault 
message on your 
PowerFlex 70 drive, press 

 on the keypad to 

clear the fault.
