Chapter 9 Connected Components Workbench Software

Import a Zip File

1. In

, right-click the device in the Project Organizer. Then click

Import. This process replaces the configuration of the selected device
with the imported configuration.

In

, search for the directory that contains the desired file. The file

type must be 7z. Highlight the filename and click Open. The configuration is
imported into the selected Connected Components Workbench software
device.

Update Firmware

Each release of the Connected Components Workbench software includes
updated versions of the firmware. Both the Optical Interface Device and the
light curtain contain firmware. The firmware can also be updated using
ControlFLASH software.
