Drill pilot holes to a depth of 1-3/4 in. (45 mm) using a 1/8 in. (3 mm) diameter
drill bit. Make sure that you drill into the center of the stud.

Attach the wall plate with the two wall plate screws (F). Tighten the screws only
until they are flush against the wall plate.
If needed, you can make small level adjustments to the wall plate, by loosening
the bottom screw and shifting the wall plate until it is level. Tighten the bottom
screw when adjustments are complete.
CAUTION
Both screws must be firmly tightened to prevent
unwanted movement of the wall plate. Ensure the
wall plate is securely fastened to the wall before
continuing on to the next step.
