6.1 Resc ue Plan
A wor ker who has been incapacitated b y an injury or medical condition
and who is suspended b y the full body harness must be r escued
immediatel y . So y ou must alw a ys have a r escue plan for such eme rgency
situations. F or this adequately trained personnel and r escue equipment
must be p r esent.
6.2 An c hor Point
The ancho r po int o f the sys te m com p ris e s th is pr oduct shoul d prefer abl y
be located abo ve the u s er o r shoul d at l ea s t at the wais t l eve l o f the
u s er . An attach m ent po int below th is l eve l will cau s e a s eri ous injury o r
death. The ancho r po int m u s t con f orm to the require m ent s o f the E N 79 5
s tandard and the mi n im u m s trength o f it m u s t be 12 kN.
6.3 V arious Situations
- A fa ll arre s t harne ss is the only device a llowed f o r suppo rting the bod y
in a fa ll arre s t sys te m.
- In a fa ll arre s t sys te m, it is e ss entia l to check the required c l earance
under the u s er be f o re each u s e , to av o id any collision w ith the gr ound o r an
obs tac l e in ca s e o f a fa ll.
- Make s ure that the ancho r po int is co rrect ly posi ti oned, in o rder to limi t
the risk and the height o f a fa ll.
- When u si ng m u l tip l e piece s o f equip m ent togethe r , a danger ous si tuati o n
m ay occu r if the s afety functi on o f one piece o f equip m ent is affected b y
the s afety functi on o f anothe r piece o f equip m ent .
7. Kaya General Information
7.1 Li f e Span
Although the pote n tial li f espan is 10 y ears fr om the date of pr oduction,
to the frequency and intense of use, envir onmental conditions, cor rect
maintenance and storage. Recommended li fe expectancy of this F all
If the pr oduct has one of the de viations below it should be withdrawn
fr om se rvice immediately and should be dest r o yed to prevent further
usage.
• It has suf fered a hea vy shock load or has had a load d r opped onto it.
• There are discoloration, stiffness, cuts and tears, gla zed or fused ar eas
on the webbing.
• There are crac ks, def orm ati on, co rr osion o r exce ssi ve wea r on the m eta l part s.
• It fails to pass inspection (befo r e usage or detailed inspection).
• Labels (markings) a r e illegible or absent.
• It is ext r emely di r ty and does not r espond to normal washing.
• It has come into contact with chemicals and especially acids or is even
suspected.
• Its histo r y is unknown.
• Its li f espan stated in the use r’ s manual has expired or even it has never
been used.
• There is a slightest doubt that the pr oduct is no mo re sa fe and r eliable.
7.2 Storage
Pr oduct is sold with storage bag and user guide. Additionally model and
applied standa r ds are pr o vided with the pr oduct. During the storage
keep the pr oduct in it’ s own bag. Storage area of the pr oduct should
meet the following requir ements;
- D ry , aw ay fr om di r ect sun light, r oom temperatu r e.
- Do not sto r e together with acids, sol v ents etc.
- K eep aw ay fr om di r ect heat sou r ces.
- If the pr oduct gets humid during the storage, dry the pr oduct in r oom
temperatu r e befo r e usage.
7.3 Maintenance
P ersonal pr otectio n equipment should be checked r egularly to ma ke
su re that the equipment will operate pr operly when ever it is used

This product has 3-year guarantee against all material or manufacturing
defects under proper usage and storage conditions. Guarantee will be void if;
product is misused; torn, cut, corroded; in case of unauthorized repair or
changes are made on the product or damaged by accidents.
7.4 Changes and Repair
Changing a par t, repair and additio n to any component to pr oduct is
strictly f o r b idden w i thout w ritten autho rizati on o f KAYA . Any repair can b e
m ade only b y KAYA . Other wis e KAYA is not re sponsibl e f o r any possibl e
cons equence s.
7.5 T ranspo rtation of Pr oduct
The pr oduct shoul d be tran spo rted in a bag to pr otect it fr om da m p ,
che mi ca ls and othe r ob ject s.
7.6 P eriodic Inspection of P r oduct
o f the equip m ent , regu l ar peri od ic exa mi nati ons are needed. Harne ss

deta il ed in s pec-ti on m u s t be carried out peri od ica lly mi n im u m onc e
a year b y the m anu-facturer o r the pe rson who is autho rized b y the
m anufacturer .
Dur ing the i nspec ti on of product follo wing i nform ati on should be
recorded;
Type o f the pr oduct, model, contact inf orm ati on o f m anufacturer ,
usage, next inspection date, p r oblems, r ecommendations, name and

7.7 Guarantee
