Solution

First check whether the date setting is correct in the monitor. If it is not,

set the correct date.

If the date is correct: turn the monitor off, remove the code chip and test

strip. Use a test strip from a new lot of test strips and insert the code chip

that came with the new lot.

Turn the monitor off, remove the test strip and re-insert it. If the error mes-

sage appears again, discard the unusable test strip and use a new one.
