Like the bowl and lid, the blade assembly should 
also be removed for cleaning after use.
Always allow all metal parts, especially knives, 
to dry completely on a plastic rack before assem-
bling components for storage to avoid corrosion.

Check that your detergent is suitable for cleaning 
the plastic parts.
Certain washing agents are too alkaline (e.g. 
high levels of caustic soda or ammonia) will  
rapidly deteriorate plastic parts.
