3.4 System Confi g uration

for details. Belo w the ribbon
cable J2 connector, there are six config u rable j u mp-
ers. They indicate w hether the thermostat for each
zone u ses an anticipator. If the thermostat for that
associated zone has an anticipator, then u se a
j u mper to co v er both pins for that zone. If the thermo-
stat for the associated zone does not u se an antici-
pator, then co v er the right side pin only.
The bottom t w o j u mpers are associated w ith P u mp 2
operation. They indicate w hether P u mp 2 is acti v e
and w hich zones are associated w ith it. P u mp 2 can
only be associated w ith Zone 3 and/or Zone 4. To
enable P u mp 2, u se a j u mper to co v er both pins for
the zone(s) that w ill operate on P u mp 2. To disable
P u mp 2, co v er only the right side of the pin of zone 3
and 4.
