Recommended Installation

1.

Clean the windscreen inside and out to

ensure clearer images and easy adhesion.

2.

Fit the suction cup bracket to the camera.

3.

Plug the 5V power adaptor into the

cigarette lighter or 12V socket and the other

end into the Drive Recorder’s DC5V power

input. The Drive Recorder will start up and

then begin recording automatically.

4.

The camera should be positioned near the

top of the windscreen close to the rear-view

mirror using the suction cup. Tilt the camera

so that the screen shows only 20% of sky

at the top and a small amount of bonnet at

the bottom.

5.

Once you are happy with the position of

the Drive Recorder, pull the lever on the

suction cup to firmly attach the camera to

the windscreen.

6.

Work out your best cable run to the 12V

power supply (see diagram).

7.

Starting from the camera using a small

object e.g. a credit card, carefully tuck the

cable between the windscreen and rubber

seal. Once at the corner tuck the cable

down the appropriate pillar between the

door and the dashboard (see diagram) and

run under dashboard to 12V power supply

using the self-adhesive cable clips supplied.
