Understanding the LED Activity Indicator
The Rear Deck Digital Messaging System has an LED activity indicator on the
back of the unit. See IR Remote Control Sensor.
The activity indicator allows the driver to visually see through the rear view
mirror that the unit is working.
A short blink indicates that a button on the remote was pressed.
Fast blinks indicate that the message(s) is/are being displayed.
A long, continuous blink indicates that the message has finished.
Library of Words and Phrases
The Digital Message System comes with pre-programmed words and phrases
that you can have running quickly on the RDDS100.
To play a word or phrase stored in the Words and Phrases Library: Press
LIBRARY followed by the phrase number, ie: 06 or 41 etc., then press Play.
You may also add to a word or phrase then save it in one of the memory but-
tons M0 - M9.
