Pump Problems?
1.
Check suction hose and fittings for air leaks (cracks, loose fittings).
A small pin hole can drastically reduce pump performance.
2.
Clogged impeller.
Clean impeller, make sure correct strainer is on inlet of suction.
3.
Discharge check valve not tight.
Replace rubber seal in check valve.
4.
Shaft seal not tight.
Packing seal; Tighten packing. Mechanical seal; Replace broken seal.
Notice:
All irrigation pumps (especially big pumps) must start pumping water slowly. Do not rev engine
to full throttle until all main-lines and laterals are full of water. Water hammer has
tremendous force and can blow pipes apart, including underground main-lines.
These high pressure water pumps are ideal for solid set irrigation, small to medium travelers, or drip irrigation.

Briggs & Stratton Vanguard 29 HP air cooled engine. Over-head valve design for 20% less fuel and 12 volt
electric start. Murphy safety panel is mounted on cart to protect engine and pump. 12 Gal. gas tank has quick couplers
to remove tank for filling. Quality Berkeley pump with priming check valve and hand priming pump. Comes complete with
heavy duty cart and 16" 4 ply tires. Two pump sizes to choose from. Approximately 1.5 - 2 gallons of fuel per hour.
