1. POSITION THE DEVICE
You can mount the S24 using the rack mount ears.
The S24 ships with the rack mount hardware as well as rubber feet to attach to the
appliance for desktop placement.
2. CONNECT THE POWER
Provide the S24 with power with a 100-240 V, 50-60 Hz, 5 A power supply.
PoE output is a maximum of 30 W for each port and a total maximum of 270 W.
3. CONNECT TO THE NETWORK
Connect the S24 to your local network using any LAN port.
To find a SteelConnect Manager instance, the S24 requires Internet access;
make sure the network provides a DHCP service so the appliance can establish a
connection automatically.

FACTORY RESET
To reset the S24 to its factory state, press the reset button on the back of the appliance
for 10 seconds. After releasing the button, the S24 resets to the factory default state.
