Mounting Models 3000, 3010, 5000, and 5010 to a Rack

When the system has reached a hard stop, pull the release tabs on both of the inner rails and push the
unit all the way into the rack.

To operate the rails
1.
To pull out the system from the rack without removing it, pull it until it stops.
2.
To push the system back into the rack, use the inner rail release tab pictured above in

To remove the system from the rack, pull until the outer rail release tab pictured in
, is visible.
Caution:
Use caution when the system is mounted in a rack and the outer rails are extended, do not place objects or
additional weight on the system.
Mounting Models 3000, 3010, 5000, and 5010 to a Rack
The following section describes how to install a 3U system, models 3000, 3010, 5000, and 5010, to a four-post
rack. You must use a four-post rack for 3U systems.
Caution:
All 3U systems must be mounted to a four-post rack; they cannot be mounted to a two-post rack.
