The radio signal strength between the signaling device and the
security and fire alarm panel is determined by the level of signal
attenuation which can be viewed in the configuration software, page
Radio Device Map, upon connection to the panel.
9.
Replacing Battery
If necessary clean the bonding pads and replace the battery. During replacing the
battery close the battery contacts for 2 seconds and then install the new battery
.
10.
Hardware Reset to Factory Settings
Remove the battery from the holders, install the jumpers JMP1 + JMP3 and install
the battery back. Figure 7.3 shows the procedure.
11.
Device Installation
Follow Code 5.13130.2009 during deployment and installation of signaling devices.
1.
Locate and install signaling devices on the control object according to the
premeditated project.
2.
Install signaling devices on a wall surface at a hight of 1.4 - 1.6 meters from the
ground or floor level to the control device and at a distance more than 1 meter
from the radio channel receiver.
Fig. 11.1. Fixing holes for signaling device
3.
Do not install signaling devices at locations with possible gas, steam or aerosol
emissions able to cause the corrosion.
4.
Mark the signaling device location layout according to the figure 11.1. The figure
5.1 (positions 2, 5) shows the mounting holes in the signaling device enclosure.
5.
Remove the battery before mounting the signaling device enclosure base.
6.
If the additional ribbon cable is used pull cables along the channel on the rear
side of the enclosure base and connect them to the terminals of the connector
XT1.
7.
Lay loops of cable reserves next to terminal connectors so they do not prevent
the installation and be fully covered by the enclosure.
8.
Upon the enclosure installation install the battery, the front panel, screw holding
screws in holes 1, 3, 4 (fig. 5.1) and reset the fire alarm button using the
extractor.
