• Move the tractor into position where the pins can be installed to connect the 3 - Point hitch linkages to
the harrow frame. Adjust the 3 - Point hitch height to connect the harrow to the tractor.
• Remove the support jack and stow it on the main frame supplied jack stub.
• Hook up the three hydraulic circuits to your tractor remote.
Recommended Hydraulic Connections:
– Remote 1 – Tine angle adjust
– Remote 2 – Wing lift/lower
• Park the tractor on level ground and lower the wings into working position ( hydraulic re-
mote) with the 3 - Point hitch fully raised.
• Retract the tine section angle adjust cylinders ( hydraulic remote) to the least aggressive, wid-
est working width position of the harrow unit.
• Exit the tractor and install the transport lock pins into each of the three harrow section pivot locations
(fig. 1) if the pins are not already installed in the locked position.
• Slowly lower the harrow using the 3 - Point hitch control so that the three harrow sections rest on the
ground and the 3 - Point hitch links are not bearing weight.
• Install the storage jack on the stub at the front of the harrow mainframe and crank the handle to ex-
tend the jack and support the front of the unit so that the 3
- Point connecting pins can be removed.
• Drive the tractor forward slowly out of the way.
