COMMISSIONING PROCEDURE
The Rinnai water heater(s) must be serviced by a competent Gas Safe Registered Engineer at least
once a year
The unvented hot water package should be maintained at least once per year preferably when the
water heaters are serviced. The maintenance procedure should at least include the following:
1. Check and clean all the strainers and filters.
2. Check the pressure of the expansion vessel and top up if required.
3. Check the T & P Valve opens and closes correctly.
4. Check the safety relief valve opens and closes correctly.
5. Check all discharge pipework is clear from obstruction.
6. Check the water pressure after the pressure reducing valve.
7. Check the temperature of TSTAT1 is set to between 60 and 65°C.
8. Check the High limit stat operates by turning down the temperature.
9. Check the Hot water service temperature does not drop too low during normal operation
10. Complete the service log
