12. Additional equipment
12.1 Hand operated disconnect clutch
The driving machine can completely disconnected from the driven machine by using the discon-
nect clutch (see Fig. [1] , [2] and. [3]). This allows service work on the driving machine.
Caution!
It is important that the driver is switched of in accordance with the OSHA require-
ments (disconnected from the mains) and secured against unauthorized switching
on.

The disconnect clutch may only be operated in overrunning mode (drive is switched
off, driven machine is running.

Before starting any service activity and before restarting the driver, the dis-
connect clutch must be secured with the safety lock against unauthorized
operation.
