Most modern equipment is protected from
accidental reversal of polarity, though this
must never be assumed. Sensitive electronics
can be severely damaged if unshielded.
d) POWERPACK’S

cruciform
’ plug provides a
choice of 6 different connectors to suit
most small electronic equipment. Before
switching power ON, choose the one that
fi ts snugly into the adaptor socket on your
machine. Where applicable,
POWERPACK’S 9 Volt battery snap should
be attached directly to the connection in
the battery compartment.
e) If your equipment lacks an adaptor socket,
you may be able to arrange to have one
fi tted by a service technician.
f) Separately wrap all unused plugs
(including the battery snap if applicable)
in insulating tape to prevent any possibility
of a short circuit occurring. Doubts
about the above should be checked with
the manufacturer, distributor, service
agent or a technician PRIOR to connection
of the RINGGRIP POWERPACK.

Before connecting the RINGGRIP POWERPACK
position the switch to the voltage specifi ed for
your equipment. DO NOT CHANGE VOLTAGE
WHILE UNIT IS OPERATING.
Indicated value must equal specifi ed
voltage for your equipment.

Set polarity switch as specifi ed in step 1.
Plug the RINGGRIP POWERPACK into a power
socket and switch on. Your equipment will
function in the normal way without batteries.
Never alter the POWERPACK’S settings unless
you intend to reconnect it to another machine.
