DS4000E Programming Guide

DelayRange = 14 x DelayScale.

MainScale is the main time base, refer to the :TIMebase[:MAIN]:SCALe command; MainOffset is the

horizontal position (normal sweep), refer to the :TIMebase[:MAIN]:OFFSet command; DelayScale is the

horizontal time base of the delayed sweep, refer to the :TIMebase:DELay:SCALe command.

Return Format

The query returns the horizontal position of the delayed sweep in scientific notation.

Description

Sets or queries the horizontal time base of the delayed sweep. The default unit is s/div.

The minimum value of <scale> is related to the current

sample rate. It must satisfy the formula (1x50/real-time

sample rate x 1/40) and should not be less than 2 ns. The

maximum value of <scale> is the current main time

base.

CENTer: when the horizontal time base is modified, the waveform displayed will be expanded or

compressed horizontally relative to the screen center.

TPOSition: when the horizontal time base is modified, the waveform displayed will be expanded or

compressed horizontally relative to the trigger position.

USER: when the horizontal time base is modified, the waveform displayed will be expanded or

compressed horizontally relative to the user-defined reference position (refer to

the :TIMebase:HREF:POSition command).



Only when the horizontal time base mode is Y-T (refer to the :TIMebase:MODE command) and the

delayed sweep is off (refer to the :TIMebase:DELay:ENABle command), can this command be valid.

Return Format

The query returns CENT, TPOS, or USER.
