SITING YOUR RIGLOO
Minimum floor area 1.8m x 1.2m and approx. 1.2m height
required
Choose a site that is flat and, if possible, protected from the wind.
Try to clear the site of sharp stones to avoid damaging the
groundsheet.
Try to set up your Rigloo with the doors in line with the direction of
wind. Avoid pitching under trees or next to barbed wire as this
could puncture the Rigloo Airframe.
SET UP
Unpack your Rigloo
Ensure tether is fitted to a valve corner where you will be starting.
Fix Tether to a post or small tree (ensure you have room for
inflation).
Roll out and unfold until flat.
Ensure
both valves
are closed then open one up ready for inflation.
Attach battery pump to correct nozzle and switch on pump.
Peg all 6 points if possible and fix guy lines if required.
Enter Rigloo and help unfold airframe into shape to assist inflation.
Top up pressure with manual pump for rigidity
(max 7psi)
WARNING!
The Rigloo is a temporary
inflatable shelter. Care must
be taken not to puncture
the Airframe at all times.
