Burner starts with ig-
nition delay.

Ignition electrode is wrongly posi-

Adjust properly as indicated herein.

Air delivery too high.

Set air delivery properly as indicated

Valve not open enough with insuffi-
cient gas allowed through.

Set correctly.

Burner locks out dur-
ing the pre-purging.

Flame is detected.

Valve defective: replace.
